Recycled Polyester Blanket for Emergency Relief and Bulk Supply

Recycled polyester relief blanket shown for quotation preparation in recycled-material procurement.

Washing Note: Standard configuration supports 30-40℃ gentle wash with regular detergent. Do not use bleach, strong oxidizing agents, fabric softener (damages fleece loft), do not dry clean, do not tumble dry over 60℃; tumble dry on low heat only. Minor cut-line lint on first 1-2 washes is normal for polyester fleece fabrics and will disappear completely after initial washes.

20 years of emergency textile manufacturing experience, with 6 million pieces annual capacity for medium weight polyester fleece/flannel blankets. We have delivered over 3 million pieces of relief and reserve bedding products to more than 30 countries worldwide.

We have long supplied government relief projects, NGO programs, institutional reserves and wholesale channels through cooperative traders. Our products meet general commercial quality requirements for relief bedding, and support full inspection by third-party agencies including SGS, BV and Intertek.

Urgent relief orders can be scheduled for production within 72 hours, with all goods produced strictly per sealed sample standards. All recycled fiber is sourced from food-grade PET bottle flakes, no unsorted industrial/medical waste plastic used.

Recommended Use Scenarios

① Eco-requirement Government/NGO Relief Projects

Recommended Spec: 400GSM polar fleece 125×180cm, dark gray/navy standard color with matching color binding, standard export pack, third-party recycled content test report provided

Meets common eco-friendly tender requirements for recycled content, light weight for easy field distribution, based on past project data reduces tender rejection risk by 80% compared to non-certified recycled claims. Matching color binding reduces 30% appearance complaints from edge color difference.

Pitfall Warning: Unverified "100% recycled" claims without batch-matched test reports will lead to tender disqualification.

② Post-disaster Temporary Settlement Bulk Distribution

Recommended Spec: 320GSM flannel 125×180cm, mixed dark neutral colors, compressed pack for high volume shipping

Cost effective for large volume bulk distribution, soft handfeel for immediate use, compressed pack reduces shipping volume by 30%, suitable for large scale emergency distribution. Based on standard 400GSM calculation, flannel construction is 15-20% lower cost than polar fleece for one-time distribution use.

Cost Saving Tip: Flannel construction is recommended for one-time bulk distribution to balance cost and performance.

③ Eco-policy Institutional/School Reserves

Recommended Spec: 400GSM polar fleece 125×180cm, unified dark color, standard pack for long term storage

Meets institutional green procurement requirements, durable for repeated use, consistent color for unified management, suitable for 3-5 year long term reserve storage under sealed dry conditions.

④ Eco-theme Wholesale/Retail Channels

Recommended Spec: Custom GSM/color/packaging, private label available with formal authorization, recycled content certificate provided

Supports custom packaging and labeling for eco-themed retail and wholesale channels, provides valid batch-matched recycled content documentation for marketing use, avoids greenwashing risk.

Recycled Polyester Relief Blanket Product Value

  • Clear material identity: quotation, sample label and order specification use the same recycled rPET polyester wording, reducing document and receiving mismatches.
  • Efficient stock control: dark grey and navy support warehouse counting and batch distribution; custom colors are approved against a physical shade sample.
  • Construction matched to use: flannel supports lighter distribution programs, while polar fleece suits repeated use, so buyers do not need to specify a blanket from scratch.
  • Traceable order records: batch numbers and QC serial numbers connect receiving, stock rotation and repeat orders to one approved version.

Recycled Polyester Relief Blanket Specifications

Product field Standard configuration Buyer confirmation
Base material Recycled rPET polyester fiber Use the same fiber name in the quotation, sample label and order.
Construction Flannel or polar fleece option Approve surface, handle, edge and care requirements on the physical sample.
Finished dimensions Standard 125×180cm; custom sizes available Custom dimensions require a defined measurement method and revised weight and packing data.
Finished unit weight Approximately 0.9kg per standard piece This is a finished-weight reference, not GSM; final acceptance follows the measured approved sample.
Color and edge Dark grey and navy; custom color and edge options Bulk color and edge workmanship follow the retained physical sample.
Documents and packing OEKO-TEX Standard 100; SGS documents subject to applicable scope Confirm product, test item and batch scope; complete a physical packing trial.

The recycled material name identifies the fiber category; it does not automatically establish a fixed recycled percentage, environmental benefit or special performance. Projects that control a percentage or test threshold should add it to the quotation and verify it against the applicable sample and documents.

Order Terms

Order Terms:
MOQ 500 units; stock dark color MOQ can be lowered to 200 pieces for urgent replenishment; custom color MOQ remains 500 pieces. Lead time: 10-15 days for standard orders, 15-20 days for large bulk orders, 20-35 days for customized items. Standard quotations are generally available on EXW, FOB or CIF terms; DDP can be evaluated for selected destinations according to the country, product and order requirements.

50% deposit will be required upon order confirmation to start production, and full balance to be settled before shipment.

Flexible payment arrangement can be discussed for institutional buyers and emergency relief tender projects.

The standard configuration supports faster quotation. If construction, size, color or packing changes, the approved sample and order specification become the acceptance reference. Named test reports must be checked for product and batch scope before quotation.

  • Product baseline: recycled rPET polyester (food-grade bottle flake source); flannel or polar fleece; 125×180cm; approximately 0.9kg finished weight per piece; dark grey and navy as standard colors.
  • Construction and documents: all stress points use double-needle reinforcement (7-9 stitches per inch with heavy polyester thread). The current product is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified, with applicable SGS-related test reports, full batch traceability and QC serial numbers available.

Connect Dimensions, Weight and Packing

Buyer decision Fields to confirm Procurement consequence
Increase coverage Dimensions, GSM, theoretical fabric weight and measured unit weight Changes handling, fold, carton quantity and distribution.
Change fabric weight GSM and measured unit weight at the same dimensions Changes handle, volume, storage and freight.
Use vacuum or standard packing Fold, inner bag, carton and recovery condition Changes carton quantity, CBM and issue efficiency.
Distribute to several destinations Quantity per pack, destination labels and split list Changes receiving checks and field issue.

Theoretical fabric weight can only be calculated after GSM and open dimensions are fixed. Finished unit weight must be measured on the proposed sample. Carton quantity, net and gross weight, carton dimensions and loading data come from a trial with the final configuration.

Use GSM and packing as one project decision

Larger coverage or higher GSM increases unit weight and folded volume. Vacuum packing may reduce freight volume, but opening condition and issue method still need review. Compare dimensions, weight basis and packing in one proposed configuration instead of treating them as separate promises.

Standard loading capacity (125×180cm baseline): ~26,800pcs per 40HQ standard packing; vacuum compression ~28,800pcs per 40HQ, subject to actual shipping line weight limit (usually 24-26 tons per 40HQ).

Recycled polyester relief blanket shown for batch comparison in recycled-material procurement.

Storage Note: Standard vacuum compression reduces storage volume by approximately 30% for warehouse use under standard pressure; over-compression causes permanent creases that cannot be recovered. Vacuum compression does not significantly increase loading quantity due to weight limits; vacuum compressed blankets require 24 hours hanging to fully rebound after unpacking; vacuum storage not recommended for over 12 months to avoid permanent loft loss.

Standard split for up to 5 destinations with carton marks does not incur extra fees for multi-site projects; split for more than 5 destinations may incur small operation fee.

Recycled Material Statement and Project Documents

Recycled rPET polyester identifies the offered fiber category. It does not by itself establish a specific recycled percentage, carbon performance, tender eligibility or special product performance. Documents not tied to the current product and batch are not presented as standard coverage.

When a project needs a named test or declaration, state the document name, product scope, test item, validity condition and batch link before quotation. We first confirm availability, then align the label, quotation, sample and order file.

Recycled Polyester Relief Blanket Order Support

The recycled-content statement, physical blanket and project documents need one reviewable chain. We first lock the proposed construction and complete fiber wording at quotation. The sample then confirms the label, surface, dimensions and weight basis. Before production, the packing artwork and batch fields are approved. At shipment, the packing record, QC record and applicable documents refer to the same order version. This prevents a correct material statement from becoming detached from the delivered specification or document scope.

Separate material identity from performance acceptance

Recycled polyester identifies the fiber process; it does not replace a performance requirement. If the project controls color fastness, tear resistance, dimensional change, pilling or another physical indicator, the buyer can state the method and acceptance threshold. We can then arrange the relevant test against the proposed configuration and return the result with its product and batch scope. This keeps environmental purchasing language useful without turning it into an unsupported performance promise.

Keep repeat orders tied to an approved version

A repeat order should reference the approved fiber wording, construction, size, GSM or unit-weight basis, color, edge finish, label and packing version. If recycled input, yarn, finish or packing changes, the changed field is identified before production and the affected sample or document is reconfirmed. Procurement teams therefore receive a practical change-control process instead of relying on a general claim that every recycled blanket will remain identical.

  • Keep the confirmed recycled polyester content wording consistent across quotation, label and order specification.
  • Develop the proposed sample around the selected size, weight, color, surface, edge and fold.
  • Review authorized logo, label and packing requirements against quantity and destination.
  • Check named certification, material-declaration or traceability documents only when required by the project.
  • Provide applicable export documents against the final contract.

Our response lists the construction option, size, weight basis, color, edge, label, inner pack, packing-trial status and applicable document scope in one comparable configuration.

Recycled Polyester Relief Blanket Labels, Documents and Packing

The fiber label uses the approved recycled rPET polyester wording together with the required product and care information. Any test mark must match the applicable document and current product scope.

The standard configuration can be supported by OEKO-TEX Standard 100. SGS documents are checked against the offered construction, specification, test item and order batch. Production batch numbers, dates and QC serial numbers support receiving, stock rotation and repeat orders.

Inner protection, fold, carton quantity, net and gross weight and freight volume come from a trial using the final blanket and packing, not historical data from another specification.

Three packing options solve different procurement problems

An individual OPP bag supports unit protection and field counting. A standard inner bag with export carton suits routine bulk storage. Vacuum packing can reduce storage and freight volume, but compressed dimensions, opening condition and carton quantity require a physical trial. Any packing change requires revised carton, weight and freight-volume data.

We prepare the approved blanket and packing sample from the same size, construction, edge and packing process, allowing the buyer to review handle, shade, fold and protection in one decision.

Procurement Pitfalls to Avoid

General Pitfalls

  • Fake test reports
  • Size shortage
  • GSM underweight
  • Inconsistent batches
  • Damaged packing
  • Incorrect label information

Recycled Polyester Blanket Exclusive Pitfalls

  1. Falsified Recycled Content: Marked 100% recycled but actual recycled content 30% or lower, 0.15-0.25 USD cheaper per piece but fails eco-tender requirements due to no valid batch-matched test report.

Self Check: Request third-party recycled content test report matching the production batch; verify report batch number matches order batch; do not accept reports from other batches.

Our Prevention: Each batch tested for recycled content, content tolerance ±5% of marked value, batch-matched recycled content test report provided for every order.

  2. Low-grade Unknown Source Recycled Material with Odor/Impurities: Untreated low-grade/unknown source recycled fiber (including unsorted industrial/medical waste plastic) with strong pungent plastic odor and high impurity content, severe lint and pilling after 1-2 washes, leads to batch rejection and user complaints.

Self Check: Smell sample for pungent plastic odor at room temperature; rub sample firmly with white cloth 20 times; excess lint transfer indicates poor raw material quality.

Our Prevention: All recycled fiber is food-grade PET bottle flake, goes through 2 times high temperature deodorization, impurity filtering and de-dusting process, no pungent odor, first wash lint ≤2g per piece, anti-pilling grade ≥3.

  3. No Valid Batch-matched Recycled Content Documentation: Claims "recycled" but cannot provide batch-matched test reports or GRS/TC documents when required, leading to tender disqualification.

Self Check: Confirm document requirements at quotation stage; verify report validity, test item and batch match before order; do not accept general reports not tied to production batch.

Our Prevention: Standard rPET products come with batch-matched third-party recycled content test report; GRS and TC certificates can be arranged separately if required.

  4. GSM Underweight Cutting Corners: Marked 400GSM but actual 350GSM or lower, 0.13-0.18 USD cheaper per piece but too thin and easy to tear during distribution.

Self Check: Weigh random finished pieces, calculate GSM against measured size; GSM tolerance ±5% is acceptable.

Our Prevention: Each fabric roll tested for GSM, tolerance controlled within ±5% of marked value, no intentional underweight.

⚠️ Quality Mandatory Red Lines

  • All fabric passes OEKO-TEX Standard 100 harmful substance test, no skin irritation under normal use.
  • All recycled fiber is food-grade PET bottle flake, no unsorted industrial/medical waste plastic used, no pungent plastic odor under normal temperature.
  • Recycled content tolerance controlled within ±5% of marked value, GSM tolerance controlled within ±5% of marked value, no intentional mislabeling or underweight.
  • Seam strength ≥40N, double-needle reinforcement at stress points with 7-9 stitches per inch heavy polyester thread, no obvious seam opening under standard use.
  • Color fastness to washing ≥4 grade after 5 standard washes, dry rubbing ≥4 grade, wet rubbing ≥3-4 grade, no obvious fading or bleeding after standard washes.
  • Anti-pilling grade ≥3, first wash cut-line lint ≤2g per piece; minor lint on first 1-2 washes is normal and disappears after initial washes.
  • Shrinkage rate ≤3% after 40℃ standard wash, fits standard use after repeated washing.
  • All recycled fiber goes through deodorization and impurity removal process, no hard impurities that may scratch users.
  • All pieces pass metal detection for ≥1.0mm metal foreign objects before packing to avoid scratching users.
  • We only make recycled content claims covered by valid batch test reports; no other unsubstantiated environmental claims (carbon neutral, biodegradable, recyclable etc.) without valid test support.

❌ Orders We Do Not Accept

  • Orders requiring fake GRS, TC or recycled content test reports: All certificates we provide are authentic and batch-matched; fake certificates cause tender failure and customs risk.
  • Orders requiring unsubstantiated environmental claims (100% carbon neutral, fully biodegradable, zero carbon, 100% recyclable etc.) without valid test support: We do not make false green marketing claims.
  • Orders requiring falsified recycled content, GSM or fiber labeling: We do not produce mislabeled goods that mislead procurement teams.
  • Orders using unsorted unknown source recycled plastic (including medical/industrial waste) to cut cost: this causes pungent odor, safety risk and batch rejection.
  • Orders requiring printing of customer logos, eco-certification marks or organization marks without formal written authorization: All marks require formal legal authorization.

5 Professional Terms for Recycled Blanket Procurement

  1. rPET Recycled Content: Percentage of recycled polyester fiber from post-consumer plastic bottles in the fabric; standard recycled content for tender is usually 30-100% as required, must be supported by batch-matched test report.

  2. GRS Certification & TC Certificate: Global Recycled Standard certification and Transaction Certificate for full supply chain traceability; GRS requires full supply chain audit, takes 15-20 extra days, TC certificates are issued per production batch; our factory does not hold ready GRS, but can arrange certification and TC per project requirement with extra cost.

  3. Batch-matched Third-party Recycled Content Test: Test report from SGS/BV/Intertek matching the actual production batch, verifying actual recycled content, standard for most eco-tenders without full GRS requirement.

  4. Standard Dark Color for Relief: Dark gray/navy standard colors hide dirt during distribution and use, reduce visible stain complaints by 40% compared to light colors in relief scenarios.

  5. Food-grade rPET Bottle Flake Raw Material: Only food-grade PET drink bottle flakes are used for production, no unsorted industrial/medical waste plastic, ensures no pungent odor and harmful substance content meets textile safety standards.

Sample, Certification & Service Policy

Regular stock sample fee is 30 USD per piece, custom/special finish sample 50 USD per piece; all samples are made from the same raw material batch as bulk goods, come with matching batch recycled content test report. Sample fee plus shipping and special testing fees are prepaid by customers in advance, and fully deducted when order quantity reaches 10,000 pieces or total order value exceeds 50,000 USD. We provide free specification sheets, quotations, sample application guides, relief distribution SOP, color swatch book and eco-tender document pack; samples themselves are not free.

Regular sampling takes 3-5 days; special testing (including recycled content, GRS audit, performance tests) takes 7-10 working days to issue official reports.

Recycled polyester relief blanket shown in a practical supply setting for final purchase approval.

Our factory does not hold ready GRS certification (high annual renewal cost, which most factories in the industry do not carry), but we can normally produce rPET recycled polyester products as requested, with standard batch-matched third-party recycled content test report provided for each batch. If customer projects mandate GRS certification and batch TC certificates, this can be arranged separately; GRS requires full supply chain audit, certification costs and 15-20 days extra lead time will be disclosed in advance, with certification fees prepaid by customers and deductible per the above policy. We never produce fake certificates.

All production follows approved sealed samples, supports full-process inspection to ensure consistency, meets relevant commercial standards, and can satisfy corresponding relief and eco-tender requirements. Sealed samples and raw material batch records are retained for 5 years for consistent repeat orders.

Full Process Quality Control

  • Inquiry Stage: Recommend suitable construction (flannel/polar fleece) based on use scenario and tender requirements, do not recommend unnecessary upgrades to increase cost; provide free relief distribution SOP and eco-tender document pack to reduce customer after-sales issues.
  • Sample Confirmation: Samples are produced with the same fabric and raw material batch as bulk goods, include matching batch recycled content test report as required, sealed by customers before production; sealed samples and raw material records retained for 5 years for repeat orders.
  • Pre-Production: Confirm all customer marks/logos have formal written authorization; confirm recycled fiber batch matches test report for certified orders; confirm raw material is food-grade bottle flake with trace record.
  • Raw Material Inspection: Each batch of recycled fiber goes through source trace check, odor test (no pungent plastic odor), impurity check; each fabric roll tested for GSM (±5% tolerance), recycled content, color difference and fabric strength; unqualified material is returned directly.
  • Production Inspection: Cutting size checked hourly; every 200 pieces undergo seam strength tensile test to meet ≥40N standard; stitch density (7-9 stitches per inch) and heavy thread tension checked every 30 minutes.
  • Finishing Inspection: Each batch tested for washing shrinkage, color fastness after 5 washes, pilling grade and lint loss after first wash.
  • Manual Inspection: Every blanket is manually checked for holes, snags, stains, skipped stitches, edge defects and label position; defective pieces are sent for rework.
  • Packing Inspection: Full check of label content, inner bag sealing, folding size, carton marks, quantity, destination code and barcode; multi-site orders checked against allocation sheet to avoid wrong delivery; standard split for up to 5 destinations is free.
  • Metal Detection: Every blanket passes through metal detector for ≥1.0mm metal foreign objects before packing to avoid scratching users.
  • Final Inspection: Inspected per AQL2.5 standard, with weight, size, GSM, color fastness, wash performance, odor and appearance testing; inspection reports and matching recycled content certificates issued before shipment.
  • Repeat Order Guarantee: Customer sealed samples, raw material batch records and production parameters are retained for 5 years; repeat orders use the same fiber source, GSM and process standard to ensure consistent quality across batches.

Recycled Polyester Relief Blanket FAQ

What should the pre-production sample confirm?

The sample should confirm material, finished size, GSM or piece-weight basis, color, edge finish, label position and unit packing before it becomes the reference for bulk production.

How can buyers confirm that a test report applies to this product?

Check the report title, tested item, product or material scope, report holder and applicable batch. The document name alone should be checked separately from coverage.

How are size and weight defined?

Provide required coverage and select GSM or finished unit weight as the control basis. Bind that value to one finished size, edge and measurement method, then weigh the proposed sample because calculated fabric weight does not include every finishing difference in final net weight.

Does recycled polyester define performance?

No. Recycled polyester identifies the fiber category, while handfeel, strength, pilling, care and warmth depend on construction, weight, finishing and the chosen test method. State any required threshold separately and check it against the exact proposed product.

Which project documents must be named?

Identify the named certification, declaration, test report or other project file, together with product scope, supplier scope, validity and batch-linkage requirement. Avoid generic document requests that cannot be matched to the offered flannel or polar-fleece configuration and order specification.

Recycled polyester relief blanket shown in a practical supply setting for sample confirmation.

What should the sample demonstrate?

Review composition wording, coverage, surface, color, edge, finished dimensions, GSM or unit weight, calculated versus measured weight, fold, label and inner protection. The sample pack should also support carton and freight estimates for the same selected configuration.

Can private-label packing be developed?

Authorized buyer marks, fiber labels and private-label packing can be developed against artwork, quantity and destination. Approve the exact recycled-fiber wording, label placement, inner bag, fold and carton plan together so branding and documentation remain aligned with the proposed product.

What is needed for quotation?

For a first quotation, provide quantity, destination, selected standard configuration and required documents. If customization is needed, we will then guide the construction, size, color and packing decisions.

Do you provide recycled content test reports?

Yes, all standard rPET recycled polyester blankets come with batch-matched third-party recycled content test report from SGS/BV/Intertek, stating actual recycled percentage, suitable for most eco-friendly tenders. Reports are tied to the specific production batch, not generic certificates.

Can you provide GRS certification and TC certificates?

Our factory does not hold ready GRS certification due to high annual renewal cost, but we can arrange GRS certification and batch TC certificates per project requirement. GRS requires full supply chain audit with 15-20 extra days lead time, additional cost applies (certification fee plus processing fee); TC certificates are issued per production batch, not one-time permanent. All certificates are authentic and traceable.

What is the difference between flannel and polar fleece construction?

Flannel is lighter, softer and lower cost, suitable for one-time bulk distribution and short-term use; polar fleece is thicker, more durable and anti-pilling, suitable for repeated use and long-term reserves. We recommend construction based on your specific use scenario.

How many times can these blankets be washed?

Under correct care conditions (30-40℃ gentle wash with regular detergent, no bleach, no fabric softener, low heat dry), polar fleece construction supports 20+ washes without obvious damage; flannel construction supports 10+ washes suitable for short-term distribution use. Actual wash life depends on specific laundry process and chemicals used.

Recycled polyester relief blanket shown in a practical supply setting for tender document review.

Do you support multi-site split delivery?

Yes, for multi-destination projects, we can separate cartons by destination, print destination codes/barcodes on cartons, provide split packing lists. Standard split for up to 5 destinations does not incur extra fees; split for more than 5 destinations may incur small operation fee. Please provide allocation sheet when ordering.

What is the fastest lead time for urgent relief orders?

We hold standard dark gray/navy recycled fabric stock for urgent orders, can schedule production within 72 hours. Standard urgent lead time is 7-10 days for quantities under 50,000pcs, subject to raw material stock at order time; urgent orders receive priority production scheduling.

Do you make biodegradable or carbon neutral claims?

We only make recycled content claims covered by valid batch test reports. We do not make unsubstantiated environmental claims including biodegradability, carbon neutrality, zero carbon or 100% recyclability without valid third-party test reports for the specific batch, to avoid greenwashing risk for customers.
